The Sai Go–Green Team appreciates everyone for participating in Sai Go–Green Week (SGGW) 2012 – 2014 during the Week of Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana. The Team requests your support this year also. This year we will be observing two important environmental events, Earth Day (April 22) and National Arbor Day (April 24), in the same week as Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Day (April 24). On this 90th year of the Descent of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, let us all rededicate our efforts to raise environmental consciousness in the community, extend a week-long SGGW offering to a year(s)-long spiritual discipline program, remember that divinity is present in every aspect of Mother Nature and express our love and gratitude to Mother Earth by being at Her service! Please see attached a copy of the SGGW 2015 flyer for details.
The Sai Go–Green Team is also pleased to share a video that captures the Sai Go–Green activities across the USA in 2013 and 2014. The primary intent of the video is to chronicle all the go–green activities taken by various centers under three categories – (1) Education and Awareness, (2) Devotion, (3) Service. On behalf of all across the nation, the Team lovingly offers this video to Swami. We hope this video will further motivate us to: take up more go–green service activities during this 90th Year of the Descent and years ahead, raise environmental awareness with Swami’s divine messages on respect for Mother Nature, and consider implementing go–green practices at the Sai events and living sustainable and green lifestyle.
