Dear Reps and Advisors,

Loving Sai Ram! Sending you greetings of love and gratitude during this week of our beloved Swami’s Aradhana Day.

This year our Sai Go-Green Team has once again put together a wonderful Sai Go-Green Week (SGGW) initiative for our young adults to take part in.

The Sai Go-Green Week (SGGW) is an annual celebration during the Week of Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Day to commemorate our dearest Swami’s love for nature. Attached with this email are the official flyer and sample study circle material.

Please share this announcement with all young adults in your region.

We look forward to hearing about the events from this week and lovingly encourage your participation. Please do not hesitate to contact us or the Go-Green Team if you have any questions.

Lovingly, in the service of Sai

There is no greater example of selfless love than Nature. ~ Sathya Sai Baba

Loving Sai Rams To Dear All:

The Sai Go-Green Week (SGGW) is an annual celebration during the Week of Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Day to commemorate our dear Bhagawan’s love for nature. As we near the week of gratitude and remembrance, we invite you to organize events and activities at your local centers and in the regions to celebrate and honor Mother Nature. The SGGW coincides with important world/national environmental events like Earth Day (April 22) and National Arbor Day (April 29). Additionally, the theme for the Sathya Sai International Organization’s Serve The Planet (STP) 2016 initiative is “Love for Animals,” which reminds us of Swami’s loving message, I am the indweller of all the insects, all the birds, and animals. I am present in all the living beings.

In the past years, devotees have enthusiastically coordinated Envirocare events along the three wings of the organization:

  1. Education: SSE lesson plans, raising awareness through study circles based on Swami’s teachings on revering Mother Nature, presentations and workshops.

  2. Devotion: Bhajan singing and meditation in nature, study circles on man’s connection with nature, and nature retreats.

  3. Service:

    1. Using non-disposable plates, napkins, cups and silverware, and segregating trash during Sai events.

    2. Tree-planting, mulching, gardening, gleaning, recycling and clean-up events in communities.

    3. Service at animal care shelters.

During several discourses, Swami has emphasized greatly on man’s relationship to Nature and persistently reminded us to Love All God’s creation and to treat Mother Nature with reverence.  We encourage all to conduct study circles in connection with Swami’s teachings on Nature and love for animals.  A sample study circle material is provided in this email.

Let us rededicate our efforts to raise environmental consciousness in the community by remembering that divinity is present in every aspect of Mother Nature, and express our love and gratitude simply by being at Her service.  Please see attached a copy of the SGGW 2016 flyer for additional details.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Sai Go-Green Team (  We also look forward to hearing your ideas.

Thank you!

With Loving SaiRams,

Sai Go-Green Team
